How to Make a Blog | Create a WordPress Blog Quickly

Create a WordPress blog quickly by following this step by step tutorial where I take you from start to finish covering some of the WordPress basics such as adding a menu, creating WordPress posts, and using plugins.

This tutorial is meant for people who do not have any WordPress experience, but also those who don’t want to spend hours upon hours just to get their blog up and running. This is the first video I’ve created from my new 30 minute sites series, where I’ll show how to make a variety of websites in roughly 30 minutes!

I came up with this idea after speaking to a close friend and my brother about creating a website. Both of them were really interested in creating a WordPress blog for themselves, but they both made it very clear to me they didn’t want to have to sit through a 2 hour tutorial to learn how to create a blog and have it live online. They also told me that they wanted to feature a more minimal blog style so that’s why I went with this theme here.

The tutorial is broken down in a pretty simple format. We start by signing up with my favorite hosting provider TMDHosting. Next we install WordPress and make changes within the dashboard. We go through some important parts of the dashboard and cover how to edit WordPress posts and add a contact form. Lastly we go over how to install plugins and how they can benefit your website. I do my best to cram as much as I can into these 30 minutes for you!
